My second grade class is collaborating with a fifth grade class at a different campus and will complete a peer review of the fifth graders writing assignments. The fifth grade teacher is sending the students writing through email using Google Slides and my second trade class will use T.A.G. (Tell what they did great, Ask a relevant question, Give a suggestion) to critique their writing using Google Docs, which I will post in Google Classroom to distribute to students. Students will give their feedback on the T.A.G Google Doc and we will email back to the fifth grade class.

For Veterans Day, students were able to Facetime a soldier (the father of one of my students) who was deployed in Afghanistan. Students were able to discuss with the soldier what life is like in the military and being deployed, and what Veterans Day means.
